HolyPath Bible is designed for personal Bible reading, study, notes, bookmarks, reading progress, and an original Bible quiz. The core reading experience can be used without an account.
The app may store selected language, selected Bible version, reader settings, bookmarks, highlights, notes, prayer journal entries, reading progress, reading history, reading plan progress, recent searches, daily verse history, quiz progress, and quiz scores on your device.
Google Sign-In is optional. If you sign in, Firebase Authentication may process your user ID, email address, display name, and profile photo. If cloud sync is enabled, Cloud Firestore may store user-specific app data such as profile metadata, language preference, settings, bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading progress, reading plan progress, quiz stats, and sync metadata. Prayer journal sync is off by default and should only be enabled if you want private prayer entries backed up.
The app uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Remote Config. Analytics is limited to basic non-personal app events such as app opened, import started, and reminder saved. Crashlytics may process crash diagnostics needed to fix app stability issues. Remote Config may provide non-personal app configuration values.
Bible databases, bundled Bible JSON files, full Bible text, audio files, and generated verse images are not uploaded to Firebase by the app. Verse sharing happens only when you choose Android sharing features.
We do not sell user data. Data may be processed by Google/Firebase services as service providers for authentication, cloud sync, analytics, crash diagnostics, and app configuration. Data may also be shared by you if you choose to use Android share features.
Firebase and Google service traffic uses encrypted transport. Local app data is stored inside Android app storage. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the app is designed to avoid uploading Bible text files and private content unless a sync feature is enabled by the user.
You can delete your signed-in account from Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app. You can also use the account deletion instructions at account-deletion.html. Account deletion removes the Firebase Auth account and known synced Firestore user data used by the app. Local device data may remain until you uninstall the app or clear app data from Android system settings.
HolyPath Bible is not intended to be submitted as a child-directed Families app in this release. If the target audience changes, the app, store listing, data practices, and policies must be reviewed again.
Firebase and Google services may process data on servers outside your country. Use of the app indicates that you understand this processing may occur as part of providing app functionality.
